Hi! I’m Laura Dumitriu,

I’m a children’s book illustrator, digital artist, and educator specializing in character design. Originally from Romania, I’ve been passionate about art since high school and university, but it wasn’t until 2019 that I fully transitioned to illustration—a field that gives me a deep sense of purpose and joy.

My work is all about creating diverse characters, drawing inspiration from the world around me and my love of travel. I enjoy exploring different cultural influences and incorporating new elements into my style, always looking for ways to bring more representation and vibrancy into my art.

In my course, Creative Characters Made Easy, I’m sharing with you all the experience I’ve gathered over the years. I’ll guide you through the tools and techniques I’ve learned to help you confidently create your own unique characters.
